Ten of Swords

In the world of tarot, the ten of swords card is sometimes referred to as the 'darkest before the dawn' card. It often depicts a dead body with lots of blood and multiple swords stabbing into it. It's a very graphic symbolic image to denote when life has, well, got you down, so to speak. It feels to me that the month of february is that 'darkest before the dawn' image. Energetically. The good news when you pull this card in a reading is that it can't get any worse than it already is. And a new & better dawn is always coming next. So I call to the energy of march, bring it on!

  1. it felt like spring this morning when i walked the puppies... even smelled it! and then the winds started to blow... for once they weren't biting! hooray for march :)!!!

  2. it was in the 50's by the time I got home this afternoon - it felt so good
    dawn is coming

  3. I gave you an award on my blog.
I really appreciated your comment to me the other day about what you admire in me. I've always enjoyed your calm thoughtful way of listening.
