Raven's World-80

Here's what Raven would like to share today for you from the Animal Kingdom:
"Take a deep breath and watch the seasons change. Notice the birds as they migrate on an innate compass and knowing. Watch day turn to night and night turn to day. The squirrel foraging for extra nuts somehow knowing it'll be a hard winter ahead.
Your body is of this Earth. The Earth has natural rhythms. Instead of following these natural cycles, you impose time and energy 'constraints' upon yourself. And you then wonder why you live "off" kilter, remaining ungrounded as if the Earth itself were working off it's axis."

Raven's World-79

Here's what Raven would like to share today:
"Be gentle with yourself. There is too much harshness. It is way out of balance and causes you to act out of alignment with Source."

Flowers, magick and hummingbirds

Sometimes awareness takes a while. But I say it's never too late. If the red dye stuff is harmful to us, and especially to our children (many believe food dyes are linked to ADHD, autism...), then how can it be healthy for our feathered friends? So I've got to ask, why do we put red dye in the sugar solution that we share with hummingbirds? (If you google this subject you'll find many who agree with me) So, the Sharon Audubon Society recommends cooking 4 parts water to 1 part sugar. Boil it 'til sugar dissolves. After it cools, it'll work just fine. In fact at my feeder there were fights over the new solution! And the hummers didn't appear to mind the non red color! Obviously, having flowers around are the best food for hummers. And then if you believe in a little bit of magick you can ask yourself, how did the flowers from the window box end up growing in the yard?

Raven's World-78

Because we are being called to focus on Mother Earth on her healing, I asked Raven how we begin. It can be an overwhelming task so how does each individual make a difference? Do you have a question for her? Here is what she has to share:
"Center yourself. If everyone centered themselves in the truth of who they are, healing would abound naturally as a result. We (your animal friends and companions) want you to connect to Source. Because you are Source. That is your truth. You are Source here on Earth."

It's all about the Turtle

This week there was a bit of a fall at The Purple Rose. Not a human fall. A fall of a picture and a clock. It was an interesting fall because it happened in a unique vertical line. And it was only that one pic and that one clock that fell among many other pics and things hanging nearby on the same wall. So one has to wonder at the significance of what fell. And then there's what they fell on, too. Specifically a turtle. A beautiful ceramic turtle that was a significant gift from a client. And yes the turtle broke. All this happened when no one was there (well, no one physically, that is). The turtle has long been a symbol of Mother Earth. And yes, we are breaking Mother Earth. So, this fall is certainly a message. And if you read Raven's World, you know she has been speaking of our Earth Mother and how we need a wake up call to come to action and to come together. And as the clock is involved, I hear "it is time." Beyond time really. The picture was of a beautiful sunset. Again part of the beauty of the Earth. Which like the frame we are shattering. Ted Andrews in "Animal Speak" writes about the turtle: "Turtles remind us that the way to heaven is through the earth. In Mother Earth is all that we need. She will care for us, protect us, and nurture us, as long as we do the same for her. For that to happen, we must slow down and heighten our sensibilities. We must see the connection to all things. Just as the turtle cannot separate itself from its shell, neither can we separate ourselves from what we do to the Earth."

Raven's World-77

Welcome to Raven's World! I'm so excited that her 77th post just happens to fall on July 7 (7/7)!!! Now that is wicked cool! Here's what she would like to share today on behalf of the Animal Kingdom:

"We have spoken of this before. (refer back to Raven's World-74 ) You have turned away from the Mother. In so doing your compassion is lost. It is within the heart that your answers lie. Love and compassion are energies that emanate from the Mother. The Divine Mother. The Mother of us All. You have put value in different aspects in your culture like status and power. These aspects can lead to greed and disregard causing you to trample on the hearts of others and your own heart, too, to get to where you think you need to go. But when you get there you find you are alone and you gaze out at the destruction around you. Of each other, of our planet. Do not wait that long before you awaken. We must honor the Mother within All."

Lack of faith in fellow man

I'm still in awe that this happened. While I maintained my faith in the angels through the whole experience and knew we'd be okay, I'm shocked and amazed that my faith in my fellow man would be such a let down. Last night we became stranded on the water when our boat broke down. We had been enjoying some fireworks and music. The boat just overheated and there was not much we could do. Even my mechanically gifted hubby could not restart her. When we broke it was about 10 p.m. and dark. There was one other boat near us. Now, we have obvious signs of distress with an engine cover up, arms waving and a hubby on the bow with an oar rowing us toward shore. The boat closest to us drifted closer. Close enough to see we needed help. The sky was lit up with stars! So the captain of our potential rescue boat started his working boat engine, took off in the opposite direction and left us there. The other few remaining boats were too far away and it was too dark to see we needed help. But one boat approached us. It got close enough for us to call for help. It came over to us and told us it couldn't help us. And it left. Now at this point I'm speechless. I could not imagine doing that to ANYONE EVER. How can you just leave us there. And there's a community among boaters. At least there used to be. The same type of camaraderie I feel when we ride. You never leave a fellow biker or boater in distress. I guess it's just not how it used to be. So, hubby rowed us to shore and we sought help from a friend. All ended well, as I knew it would. So, me being me, I asked the Angels later that night what in the world is going on. And they replied, "disconnection". So many have lost their way. Disconnecting from Source and each other. Forgetting that we are all one in truth. And the divine feminine aspects of compassion have been lost as well. Blessed be. We have a lot of work to do.

Divine timing dream

Funny thing. I had a dream last night that I was writing on my blog today about divine timing. While I don't remember everything I wrote in the dream, I do remember the gist. We all are pretty familiar by now with the law of attraction. Ask or set your intention and the universe brings it to you. As long as your energy matches with what it is that you are seeking. Usually, the latter part is the rub for many of us. If you are human, your energy can be all over the map. Especially lately. So finding joy and gratitude wherever you can can help you match up with your dreams. And grounding, centering and reconnecting to source can also keep you on track in times of chaos. But there's one more piece that not everyone touches on. The phenomena of 'diving timing'. Sometimes you can do everything right and still not see what you are seeking to manifest. Then it is all about the higher perspective of your life. Your higher self and those who guide you see the whole picture. And their job is to bring to you the best of what you are dreaming about at the best time for you. So please have patience and keep the faith!
