As I've mentioned before I stay away from gluten, soy, dairy, caffeine, meat...which really means I eat pure foods. And one of my last addictions to go has been potato chips. I have moved away from the processed ones to the natural ones. But those pesky Angels still have quite an opinion about that. They tell me every time I crave those potato chip carbs I should eat protein instead. And just as they have been all along my food journey, they are right. If I eat protein when I have that carb craving, I feel soooo much better. And the craving disappears. So this week I have discovered the best of both worlds. It has been so much fun to find, try and make new foods and now I have a new favorite one. They are called Baked Lentil Chips. They are made from beans!!! (lentil, adzuki and garbanzo to be specific) And guess what that means!!! They have protein. 4 grams per serving in fact. And 70% less fat than regular potato chips. And they taste really good, too. Although my pallet may be different from yours having had to make so many changes in the name of health and what's right for my body.
We all need to find remembrance. Remembering our own connection to Spirit. In my practice of offering readings, I'm often guided to bring through information and messages for people. What I hope to do as well is encourage people to connect to Spirit themselves. No one understands what is best for you better than you. And when you use your sixth sense or your gut instinct or advice from your higher self or from your Angels (however it works for you), your life unfolds gracefully and in your best interest. Spirit recently showed me that when a reader accesses information for you, they are of course reading energy only. Energy is always in motion. And so nothing ever remains the same. Your life, your desires, your journey, your choices are always in motion, too. So when a reader offers you a reading, they are really only taking a snapshot of your life in that moment the reading happens. It is like pausing your life's journey in that one moment. Even in the moment after the reading, the energy is already shifting. So even if it is a good reader and a good reading (which you can tell because it resonates with you), whatever is shared may change. Nothing is ever set in stone. And the power always lies with you. What do you want. What do you want to create. And what is also best for the others involved in your life. Change is constant. But so is our connection to Source.
Here's what Raven would like to share today on behalf of the animal kingdom:
"If you can stand in the truth of who you really are. Know without a 'shadow' of a 'doubt' that you are a pure light being, the world would truly be your oyster. There would be nothing you could not do. There would be nothing you could not have. It is only your 'shadow' and your 'doubts' that keep your dreams from you. Ease yourself back into connection with source. It is the only way."
On Saturday as I was driving into The Purple Rose, I said to the universe, "I wish Shinedown was coming closer so I could see them!" (their current tour does not include CT) I proceeded to enjoy an amazing day at The Purple Rose attuning to Archangel Michael in the second session in our Lightarian (tm) AngelLinks program with the other beautiful participants. And Saturday night visited with friends for a BBQ. Sunday morning I was preparing Easter dinner with hubby and listening to WCCC on the radio. Out of nowhere the dj announced that Shinedown was going to be at a local bar in Hartford that night!!! And it was FREE!!! So after having a wonderful family Easter dinner, hubby and I hightailed it to Hartford! Now that's what I call manifesting! Ask, it is given and enjoyed!!!
Last night we had the best dinner. I made re-fried black beans, guacamole, sliced olives and home made salsa. The salsa is easy. Just chop up tomatoes, onions, garlic, a peach or a plum or another cool fruit, fresh cilantro, and mix in Bragg's apple cider vinegar, olive oil, sea salt and pepper. I heated up Food for Life sprouted corn tortillas and stuffed those babies with everything previously mentioned! They were soooo good! And good for you!
I keep getting messages from Spirit about the changes that are coming. About how money will be obsolete and the old systems will fail. Of course, we're seeing some of this already. And I can't help but think of those in our culture who do not have a lot of money. And the way so much is set up with monetary consequences for having not enough money. If you can't afford health insurance, your health care costs are more. If your credit is not good because you've been struggling financially you get charged MORE on your car loan, your interest rates are higher, your mortgage rates are higher, your credit card interest rates are higher... If you are late on a payment because you are struggling, again, you get penalized by having to pay more. Does anyone else see anything wrong with these systems?
