Raven's World-54

Here's what Raven has to share today. Reminds me a bit of the 'serenity prayer'...what do you think?
"Control. Humans seem to have an obsessive need to control. This need stems from fear. And the truth is that you are not in control at all. What you do have control over are your thoughts, your decisions about yourself, and your responses. But that's really it. You can't control other people. You can't control outside circumstances and events. So let go. Be yourself. Allow, more. There is a grand and beautiful synchronicity to your life. If you let go more than you hang on. Life is much easier when you let go of the reins that do nothing to drive your team."

What's your sign?

Last night on Discovering Nature's Spirit, we had a return visit from a great guest. Michael Jernegan, would renown astrologer, came back to tell us what to expect from 2010 for each sign. He also told us what restaurants and food choices match us, too. Don't forget you can always catch the shows on archive at your convenience if you miss them live!

Dog walking...

This post a bit delayed because I had to wait for a certain hubby to upload the photo from his phone. But this past Monday we had the day off and so did friends. We took all our dogs for a walk in the woods by a local lake. Daisy, our friends' dog, on the right is new to the pack. She's a beautiful boxer who doesn't quite understand why my Raven and Shaya don't exactly welcome her with open arms (paws). She's full of puppy exuberance and my dogs, well, not so much. But as you can see they did quite well together here. Though all is well only when everyone realizes Raven is the leader. They kept running up ahead of us slow walking humans then running back to make sure we were still coming. Somehow Raven always knew where to go!

Raven's World-53

Here is what Raven would like to share today:
"We (your animal friends and companions) say what you see in your mind's eye is much more real than what you see with your physical eyes. Especially if you are looking at the world around you and you do not like what you see. Just visualize something different. And so it is."

Hang in there

It came to my attention on Saturday during my Lightarian Reiki 4 attunement at The Purple Rose that I was a bit 'clogged' up, energetically. And during the attunement process and later that night while I was sleeping I received a deep healing from my helpers in Spirit. Lately, I have been hearing from many lightworkers (myself included) that we are all, well, tired. Everyone it seems from all walks of life is undergoing 'stuff'. And for quite some time, too. "You mean there's more?" ...more to deal with, more to recognize, more to heal... And lightworkers are no exception. As I turn my attention up, I can see the Angels smiling down to us with love and understanding. I hear them gently remind us that we have all the tools already to make it through our 'stuff'. That there's planetary shifts and vibrational shifts going on at the same time we are walking through our own individual stuff. This can be overwhelming. But it's worth it. {As I try to continue to type, I'm being interupted by my cat, Midnight, with lots of kisses...'see you're not alone', he says...'and you are loved'.} That is what the Angels are reminding us, too. We are not alone. We have Spirit to guide us. Often we get bogged down energetically with the weight of our own lives and the weight of the global situations. The Angels remind us to ask them for help. And ask each other for help, too. Keep using the tools in our tool bag to keep grounded, centered, cleared and connected to Spirit. So Spirit can continue to guide and help us. And healers rememember to get healings!

Speaking of beautiful Midnight...check out Discovering Nature's Spirit tonight as I welcome special guest Lisa from Mary's Kitty Korner, a wonderful cat rescue and adoption center in Granby, Connecticut. (7-8 pm est)

Raven's World-52

Here's what Raven would like to share today:
"Creation occurs when you have clear intention and the alignment of energy, both yours and universal."

Animal antics

While Shaya quietly enjoys his bone, Raven has taken to consistently moving her ball to the wood pile next to the wood stove. No matter where it is in the house, she grabs it and drops it into the pile of wood. Now I don't think she wants us to burn it....

Winter doldrums...

I wake up this morning and the temp outside reads 7 degrees. And mostly it feels as if I can't breathe. I'm definitely a summer girl. Even hot and humid I welcome. I'm trying really hard not to complain. But we never really had a warm and sunny summer and now we're smack dab in the middle of cold. Even as I type this I'm aware of places out west that are even colder. And the warm places like Texas and Fla who are in record lows as well. But I really do miss short sleeves....right now I miss anything less than 3 layers of clothes! And so I can try to find what I'm grateful for like the home that provides shelter, the FREE wood we received last summer that warms our house in our wood stove, and hubby who did the splitting and is the only one who really knows how to light a warm fire. And most of all family that adds the true spark of love!

Raven's World-51

Here's what Raven would like to share today:
"Love is always present in every moment. No matter what or who. We (your animal friends and companions) are waiting for you to feel it. To get it. We are very patient. This is our task. To help you find it. Sometimes it takes a crisis before you can see love. And sometimes it even takes a loss or a passing. We so want you to find it the easy way."

Magic Wings

What do you do when you wake up on your day off and it's 9 degrees outside with blustery wind and snow? You grab hubby and some friends and go to magic wings, of course. It's a tropical paradise filled with green things, lots of flowers, fairies and of course, butterflies! A taste of summer to get me through!!!
