Renewal and Rebirth at Imbolc-a personal message from Laura

 Change is the only constant is a saying from long ago.  I have felt this way in my personal life for some time now.  It is hard to embrace change.  The unknown can be scary, and we can feel full of resistance.  It is the rare among us that can stand facing a new horizon in full faith as life meanders here and yon.

For those of you who have traveled alongside me on the journey of The Purple Rose, you may have noticed many changes over the years while I endeavored to create a dynamic that worked well for all concerned.

I was inspired to create the business and home of The Purple Rose Healing Center a little over 23 years ago.  Embracing my intuitive and healing gifts as well as my spiritual connection was quite the ride, sometimes bumpy but oftentimes filled with joy. 

Like many, my innate gifts were buried under emotional trauma and life lived.  My intention and purpose have always been to inspire and assist others as we continue to become whole together in a supportive community.

So, as Imbolc of 2025 dawns with renewed light, I feel inspired to create another change.  A few years back, I let go of the physical location of The Purple Rose and still maintained an online and remote presence.  But the time has come to close the business completely.

The spirit of the Purple Rose will always be a part of who I am, and I will continue to share messages from Spirit as inspired both on this blog and my youtube channel (you can find that link below).  I hope they will be helpful for those who choose to tune in from time to time.

I am trusting my inner guidance as I stand in anticipation of something brand new on the horizon yet again.  

Words cannot do justice to the appreciation I have for all of you.  Spirit is always telling us that we are co-creating our lives along with those from Spirit.  The Purple Rose journey has also been a co-creation with all of you.  You are what made it all worthwhile!

Winter Solstice and Lighting up in 2023:

Our animal guides for the season ahead are the Dolphin and the Ant

portending the promise of joy and breaking free.

You are also reminded that patience is said to be a virtue. 

In fact, it is a wonderful skillset to unearth and practice. 

Inherent within patience is faith that all is well, that you are

always fully supported, and that everything is occurring in its perfect time for you.

Just as all of the light available does not return all at once on the day

after the solstice, the same is true for the blessings coming to you. 

The light gradually returns a little each day in harmony and balance with All. 

Your journey is the same.  You may wish for all of your blessings all at once. 

But you need to be open to accept and receive them. 

Appropriate foundations need to be in place. 

2023 heralds in a time of allowing what is ready to be received in

each moment while pausing and paving the way for even more

The message from Spirit this week is a call to the Divine Feminine.  Find comfort and seek solace in the Sacred Feminine.  Spend time with the aspects of softness, flow, rest, intuition, receptivity, blessings, love, faith, hope, nurturing, compassion, empathy, grounding, laughter, creativity, inspiration, and beauty.  

Also, make sure to practice self care in general but especially of your physical body.  Enjoy whole foods with pure nutrients.  Use trusted herbs and teas.  Explore new options and opportunities for growth and wellness.

Important message from the Angels!

"The space in between where you stand and where you wish to be is a magickal place indeed. First we ask you to surrender. We ask you to let go of the trapeze bar you cling to so tightly. We need you to release where you are especially if it is not working. Or you will stay hanging there from that bar. As you make the jump to the next trapeze bar, as you release the 'known' (even if it seems a comfortable place for you), know that we are with you. We will never let you fall! Your negative voice will try to trick you in doubt and fear. The negative voice will tell you that you will fall. It will even try to convince you that you are falling. But you are not. You cannot fall. That is why we are here..... We hold that space for you when you let go. The negative voice will try to convince you that the in between space (between trapeze bars) is an empty space. An empty void. Remember what you believe you create. What you will find instead if you ask us to help you quiet that voice is a place of power. The in between is a magickal point of creation! A power point. Faith takes you to the next trapeze bar quicker. And the next... And the next.... And the next... Raven's World-148

Took some time off for the holidays to focus inward and spend time with family. A great way to release all that does not need to be carried forward into 2012. 2012 is sure to be a pivotal year and as the animals remind us below, it is whatever we make of it!!! Here's Raven's first message on behalf of the Animal Kingdom for 2012!!!:

"Faith moves mountains and creates worlds. We (your animal friends, helpers and companions) see many of you 'losing faith' and 'giving up hope'. Your future is as bright as you can imagine it into being! The point of creation is now, this very moment! The choice has always been yours. You really are very powerful for you are the divine light of creation in body. So we ask you, "How do you see your future?" And so it is."

Flow, flexibility and faith

Flow, flexibility and faith are my new 3 favorite words from Spirit. As I watch my own life (and the lives of my clients) spin by, I find being grounded essential. It sometimes feels like a whirlwind. You might even call it chaos at times. So much upheaval. So much change. For everyone. We know in our heart of hearts it's all for the better. But when you are spinning in it it can be hard to gain your footing. And even in the more difficult moments I know everything is really okay. And everything will be okay. And Spirit always reassures this. It comes back to our belief as humans that we must be in control. Which just gets us in trouble and limits our dreams, creations and solutions. Really what we need is to be connected to Spirit and then we need to surrender. The rest will be taken care of once we get out of the way. Mother Nature has been showing this lesson to us here in the NE with tons and tons of snow stuff. Scheduling, work commitments, school functions, and where you thought you were going that day must be released. How can you go with the flow, how can you be more flexible and how is it all leading you back to faith....those are questions you may want to start asking yourself. I know I sure have!

Here's what Raven would like to share today on behalf of the Animal Kingdom:

"If you are not seeing evidence of the manifestation of your dreams, you need to ask yourself if you are offering thoughts and energy in opposition to that dream. If not, have faith!"

Lack of faith in fellow man

I'm still in awe that this happened. While I maintained my faith in the angels through the whole experience and knew we'd be okay, I'm shocked and amazed that my faith in my fellow man would be such a let down. Last night we became stranded on the water when our boat broke down. We had been enjoying some fireworks and music. The boat just overheated and there was not much we could do. Even my mechanically gifted hubby could not restart her. When we broke it was about 10 p.m. and dark. There was one other boat near us. Now, we have obvious signs of distress with an engine cover up, arms waving and a hubby on the bow with an oar rowing us toward shore. The boat closest to us drifted closer. Close enough to see we needed help. The sky was lit up with stars! So the captain of our potential rescue boat started his working boat engine, took off in the opposite direction and left us there. The other few remaining boats were too far away and it was too dark to see we needed help. But one boat approached us. It got close enough for us to call for help. It came over to us and told us it couldn't help us. And it left. Now at this point I'm speechless. I could not imagine doing that to ANYONE EVER. How can you just leave us there. And there's a community among boaters. At least there used to be. The same type of camaraderie I feel when we ride. You never leave a fellow biker or boater in distress. I guess it's just not how it used to be. So, hubby rowed us to shore and we sought help from a friend. All ended well, as I knew it would. So, me being me, I asked the Angels later that night what in the world is going on. And they replied, "disconnection". So many have lost their way. Disconnecting from Source and each other. Forgetting that we are all one in truth. And the divine feminine aspects of compassion have been lost as well. Blessed be. We have a lot of work to do.
