Renewed hope

As that which was supposed to be summer begins to fade, and there's threat of a early frost tonight, I cannot help but notice the two new blooms on the butterfly bush. They seem to herald a renewed hope that I cannot quite explain. While the rest of the garden fades to get ready for the colder months ahead. And even this very bush itself had begun its descent into its roots, two bright pink blossoms burst forth against all odds. Perhaps nature reminding us to keep faith strong.

  1. I think you are right! It's funny how some plants do that right before the first frost! Our cosmos are going great guns after a late start. Alas our butterfly bush did not do well with the cool, wet summer and produced few blooms. We are transplanting it, hoping to give it a new home it will like a bit better! Hope and Faith as seen in Butterfly Blooms!
