The funny thing is everyone around us went on vacation this past weekend including the kids. So all of a sudden hubby and I looked around and realized we could have our own vacation, just us, with all the comforts of home! We actually had 3 days off together which can be rare these days with both of us self employed. We indulged in meals out, drinking coffee/tea outside in the morning, kayaking, taking the puppies swimming, and sitting around a nightly fire...It was pretty cool!
