Love will lead us back home

 

As I take a walk on this warm winter’s day anticipating the promise of spring, I hear the Angels tell me that I have been losing myself a lot lately.  Is this true for you, too?

A pull of a Medicine Card for all of us upon my return home, reveals the Deer as a helper at this time.

The Deer is a wonderful Animal Guide to help us to move from the darkness of winter toward the light of spring.  The deer is the ultimate advocate for the continued, relentless practice self-love.  I hear her say that what we need most right now is to be gentle with ourselves even as we interact with the harshness prevalent in the outer world. 

Inside we can embrace warmth, comfort, compassion, and more positive self-talk, no matter what.  It matters not who you may be with or what you may be doing.  Always bring yourself back to self-love as your gaze turns inward.

We may lose ourselves from time to time, but love will always guide us back home.

Our Full Moon helper today is the Deer!

In a time when we are craving peace above all else, the Deer reminds us that it starts from within.

The Deer brings a gentle nudging that the kindness we long for in the world begins within us.

As within, so without.

We may not be able to always affect the planet at large, but we can notice subtle changes in our immediate vicinity. 

Like the pebble thrown into a pond, the ripples move out from the center point, you!
