A personal note about Raven

Raven, our amazing black lab, has made her transition across the rainbow bridge to the other side this month.  She decided to come in and leave (12 years later) in February, her birthday month.  She was an integral part of our family and she also provided a channel to the Animal Kingdom here on our Purple Rose Musings blog.  She was potty trained at the first location of The Purple Rose in Canton and she used to come to work with me every Friday when The Purple Rose was housed in that old red barn building.  She would bring comfort, healing energy, and messages to our wonderful customers and clients.  Her physical presence will be missed but I am certain we have not heard the last from her from Spirit!!  As a special hello from heaven from Raven, the urn that was randomly provided to us from an outside company unfamiliar with our work, just happened to be a beautiful green box covered with purple roses!!!  

There is no new channeled message this month, but there are plenty of old "Raven's World" posts to choose from archived here on our blog.

We have a brand new channeled message from the animal kingdom today.  As you know The Purple Rose Healing Center has moved to 526 Main Street in New Hartford, CT.  We are still offering readings and healing sessions by appointment.  We have many classes and event offerings as well.  And, we can now have retail hours:  Wed., Thur., Fri. and Sat. from noon to 5pm!!!
Our GRAND OPENING PARTY is this coming Saturday, Jan. 18 from noon to 5.  Stop in and see our new space and enjoy some tea and treats from our friend and neighbor, Passiflora Tea Room!
For our Raven's World column here on the blog, I will still be offering channeled messages from the Animal Kingdom.  I will not be able to have one for you every Wed., however.  With the move and being so blessedly busy, I'll have to cut back a bit.  But, I will still post them when I can (when they insist!!! lol).  Of course, I will continue to post channeled messages from the other realms of light when they come through as well!

Today we celebrate our 200th channeled message from the Animal Kingdom!!!  And of course I knew it would be special.  As I was sitting at my computer checking emails, facebook and surfing the net...my cat jumped up on the keyboard and kept nudging my hands with her face.  And so it is that our feline friends want to be heard today:

"We are trying to get your attention.  We are helping you to wake up.  So that you can live well and so that life will be easier for you.  Here's what we most want to say to you...Get off those computers, cellphones and other contraptions.  Get outside, sit down for a minute, meditate, daydream, nap...  Where are all of you?  You are "out to lunch", unavailable.  How can we help you when we can't even get through?"

And now that she's been heard, she is just sitting next to my keyboard patiently waiting me to finish this post and get the heck off the computer!!! lol

Off the grid

I was unable to post last Wed.'s Raven's World or host last Monday night's Discovering Nature's Spirit radio show because I was disconnected as a result of storm Sandy here in CT.  Just an small and temporary inconvenience really.  I'm back on now and would love to continue to share this work with you on-line!!

My prayers go out to all who are suffering as a result of the storm.

We work through our channel often for she is one of us. We do back flips now in the hope of getting your attention. So distracted are many of you. We come in large quantities now in the hope that you will begin to pay attention to the Oneness of All Spirit. The Oneness in You. We are you and you are us. We show you the heights before you. You can also soar sweet children of the Earth!"

Angel lessons

I know I missed last Wed's Raven's World. It wasn't her fault it was mine. Between work and holiday prep I spaced right by it...definitely have it back for you this Wed.!
The other morning I took a bit of a spill. It was a frosty morning and my front outdoor steps appeared dry...but alas it was not the case. And so down I went. It was in fact quite an ugly fall with a chest plant as the grand finale. I was surprisingly unharmed and grateful that I somehow kept my face from hitting the paver/cement block-like step that I landed on. But of course it was not really me who kept my face up, it was those pesky, beautiful Angels who took the opportunity to remind me to keep my "chin up"...ha ha...they think they are funny! And just in case you think that every experience is not an opportunity to learn something they continued to inform me that there is in fact NOTHING to fear EVER. "Even when you fall," they said, "We will catch you."

Signs and Service

I've been asking for a rainbow. Sometimes I need a bit of reassurance from the Universe. And for the latter part of the summer I've been asking to see a rainbow. So everytime we had rain and breaks of sun I'd search the sky in vain. The lesson is not just the asking but the letting go. We have a tendency (myself included) to want to control the outcome...it's never a good idea 'cause then we limit how our Angelic helpers can, well, help us. The other important ingredient to the manifestation formula is to stay open. The signs we are asking for can come to us in a variety of ways. Perhaps seeing one directly was not how it was supposed to go down. So when hubby came home the other night after visiting with his parents and told me he had a picture for me.......guess what it was!?
Would love to talk more about signs tonight on our show (7-8:00 pm est)!!! And I'm getting an Angelic nudge to talk a bit more about Raven's last message, too! Readings for callers!
