Here's what Raven would like to share today on behalf of the Animal Kingdom. Raven began her discussion of food last week (see Raven's World-153). We will hear more from the animals on this coming Monday night's radio show (Discovering Nature's Spirit):

"Your food choices are critical as we move forward. Unadulterated (non GMO), pure food as found in its natural state. No artificial anything. No added fillers at all. Your bodies are being amped up and you will see more disease if you continue to eat the way you have become accustomed. You will see no disease if you make these changes.

We (your animal friends and companions) hold as much of your diseases as we can so you do not have to. That is a point of us with you (one of the reasons they are with us). As you make changes we can also change with you. Be our natural healed selves again. Look into what is in the commercial food you feed us. Or worse if you give to us what you are taking in. Think about us as wild beasts. What would we eat in nature? And that is what we wish you would feed us. Unadulterated properly prepared raw delicacies please. You will see us glow. We do not need disease to pass. We have no fear and will let go when it is our time. We are already there, you see, and can just let go."

We see this human diet filled with so many toxic substances and worry about our human friends. It is time to wake up...to know and understand what you are putting in your bodies. The first step is awareness. Take a chance learning something new to you. And take a first step toward wellness!"

"Whole-ly" Eating

Recently the Angels came through with some eating guidance for raising your vibration and ascension as we move forward at this time. (See prior 'Vegan Considerations' post)

The Angels are now adding two new food concepts to their recipe for eating "lighter". First, as you assemble your plate make sure the the amount of vegetables or fruits is much larger than anything else. So if you are doing veggies and rice, make sure that you are eating mostly veggies with a touch of rice. (and the farther away from the whites--ie. white rice, the better, too) Or, if you are really brave....just the veggies!

The second concept is to eat "whole-ly". Follow the individual food itself back to its whole. So for instance, I enjoy quinoa pasta because I'm eating gluten free. They want me to eat the actual quinoa instead. (and then eat it in accordance with concept #1 above!!!!) Any processing they say is taking away light/life force energy from the food.

The Angels say that it is the synergy of all the natural components of our food that brings health and well being. They don't recommend one food or herb over another. They say that water is like white light...it contains all the spectrum of colors you need. It is not one isolated component but rather the "whole" of the food. "Light" is your fuel. You need the "whole" spectrum of light through your diet. You are a myriad of swirling light!

So we want our portions to have the most light and also the most nutrients. The Angels say the color energy of each fruit or vegetable is important.

The Angels want you to give yourself a break, too. Listen to your body, listen to your Angels, and love yourself wherever you currently are. Everyone is in a different stage of transformation and everyone has different needs. Just honor yours!

"The space in between where you stand and where you wish to be is a magickal place indeed. First we ask you to surrender. We ask you to let go of the trapeze bar you cling to so tightly. As you make the jump to the next trapeze bar, as you release the 'known' (even if it seems a comfortable place for you), know that we are with you. We will never let you fall! Your negative voice will try to trick you in doubt and fear. The negative voice will tell you that you will fall. It will even try to convince you that you are falling. But you are not. You cannot fall. That is why we are here..... We hold that space for you when you let go. The negative voice will try to convince you that the in between space (between trapeze bars) is an empty space. An empty void. Remember what you believe you create. What you will find instead if you ask us to help you quiet that voice is a place of power. The in between is a magickal point of creation! A power point. Faith takes you to the next trapeze bar quicker. And the next... And the next.... And the next... Took some time off for the holidays to focus inward and spend time with family. A great way to release all that does not need to be carried forward into 2012. 2012 is sure to be a pivotal year and as the animals remind us below, it is whatever we make of it!!! Vegan Considerations

With all the changes going on energetically (ascension), one aspect you may find shifting is how you eat. The Angels say we are being guided now to eat "lighter". Lighter both in allowing more light to come in through our food (aka...pure, fresh, still with life force energy...) and also lighter as in foods that are not heavy for us. It's best to trust your own guidance as to what is right for you. Everyone is different and has different needs. I hear that there can come a time when all you need to live well is light itself (rather than the food)...but it's for sure I'm not there yet! For myself I was guided to give up animal products. (and gluten, and dairy, and soy, and caffeine, etc.) Even when I argued with the Angels about eating grass fed, organic meat....they still said it wouldn't be right for me because it was about the "light"!!! And plants are "lighter"... I also have quite an affinity for animals and found I could no longer eat them. The animals themselves are hoping to guide us away from our reliance (or as they say addiction) to eating them. They willingly sacrifice themselves for us but really wish they would not have to anymore! (especially in the quantities they do now) You see they do have a choice spiritually. They really want us to see ourselves and them as equal...all part of the same Spirit/one-ness. Again, you must do what is best for you and only your inner guidance knows best. For those of you who are interested in allowing more of your own light to come through and accessing your intuition easier and clearer, a lighter diet can help.

I am seeing many more clients and friends eliminating meat from their diets. I am guided today to share some information about making sure you are still getting a good balance of nutrients when you go vegan/vegetarian. (unless you are at that point where light and energy is enough!!) I speak from my experience and the experiences of my clients. I also speak from the research I've done and through some herbal and nutrient training that I've had. It's always best to check with your own medical practitioner as I am in no way disbursing any medical advice.

Here are some considerations for a meat-less diet. You want to make sure you are eating enough and a variety of plants because different vegetables, fruits, etc. offer different nutrients. You can check out one of those color charts that shows you those details.

You want to think about whether you are getting enough protein. (especially for those like me who cannot tolerate soy....and keep in mind soy is over-processed in our culture and difficult to digest unless it is in its purest (fermented) form...and soy can affect female hormones...) There is significant protein in our plant friends (Braggs raw apple cider vinegar has a book available with a chart of the protein content in fruits and vegetables). Also, of course, beans and certain nuts and grains have protein, too. There are protein powder drinks available if you need to supplement (I like the vegan Lifetime LifeBasics brand).

You may want to think about a good natural multivitamin especially if you are not good at eating a lot of variety. You may want to think about adding calcium (with mag and d, too, perhaps). L-Carnitine is an amino acid that is found mostly in meats so you may want to think of that supplement, too.

The two most important considerations for the non-meat eating person are b12 and iron. Again most b12 sources are meat. And especially if you are a menstruating female, iron may need to be added to your diet.

The Angels really like green things!!! Lots of great nutrients in our greens. They also really like plants from the ocean, too. (for us, that is, they really don't need them!!!)

These are meant to be considerations for you because I have seen clients and friends end up deficient in some of these areas after going meat-free without all the info they might need. Check with your medical care person, do your own research, and tune into to your own body.... and eat for your health!

I know I missed last Wed's Raven's World. It wasn't her fault it was mine. Between work and holiday prep I spaced right by it...definitely have it back for you this Wed.!
The other morning I took a bit of a spill. It was a frosty morning and my front outdoor steps appeared dry...but alas it was not the case. And so down I went. It was in fact quite an ugly fall with a chest plant as the grand finale. I was surprisingly unharmed and grateful that I somehow kept my face from hitting the paver/cement block-like step that I landed on. But of course it was not really me who kept my face up, it was those pesky, beautiful Angels who took the opportunity to remind me to keep my "chin up"...ha ha...they think they are funny! And just in case you think that every experience is not an opportunity to learn something they continued to inform me that there is in fact NOTHING to fear EVER. "Even when you fall," they said, "We will catch you."

In preparation of tonight's Discovering Nature's Spirit radio show, I asked the Angels what they wanted me to share with the audience. The following is what they gave me and I thought I'd share it here, too!! The Angels say that 11/11/11 was a gateway to bringing in more light. It is an energy dynamic (and it is still ongoing) that releases the lower vibrational energies such as fear, hatred, greed, etc. It is a wonderful time to come together with others who are like minded in love, light and peace. Meditation and other calming activities can help this transition and also help you access more clear inner guidance than ever before! We can strengthen the light by joining with others because the numbers raise the vibration of the self, the group and the planet exponentially. It is a time when we are moving toward oneness of all. It truly can be more like heaven on Earth. You will find rapid manifestation of your thoughts and the energy you hold within yourself. "You are true creators", the Angels say. Remember it starts from within you. You can do nothing for others, Earth, or planet without transforming your-self first.

One of the questions I had for the Angels was if we are moving toward heaven here, why are so many still in difficulties. The Angels tell me what we had at this time was in effect was an attunement...a realignment...a shift to allow more light and crystalline self experience. In Reiki an attunement is defined as an energetic initiation. And we know that there can be difficult aspects to the process and this is what may be happening for us now even though we know the shift will lead to more ease, peace and love in the long run (and even now at times...more and more). So you may be experiencing detox symptoms. Some physical symptoms may include random pain in the body, cold/flu symptoms, stomach upsets, headaches, fatigue, sleep disturbances... You may feel a need to withdraw or "go to ground". We know that nurturing the self during these changes is key...sea salt baths, connecting to nature, connecting with supportive community, receiving healing work, etc. Also, you may be finding events, situations and relationships have the appearance of more problems or you may find more chaos reigning. This is also part of the process. The universe will show you the shadow aspects of you that need to be shifted to light. Awareness is key. The universe is simply (easy for them to say) showing you what is still out of balance or needs healing within you. So, don't get caught up in the whirlwind of the issue...instead pull back, ground, center, and go within. Ask the Angels to fill you with light and perhaps understanding. The Angels can help you 'light it up'!

It was so interesting and timely to me that here in CT we had so many power outages for such a long time during the crazy Oct. storm. We got to examine 'being in the dark'...being without 'power'...perhaps there were ways in our lives we still felt this way. Even though we know in Spiritual truth there is nothing to fear and only love is real! The Angels are also asking me to assure you that you are never alone. Ever! They always stand beside you even in the times that feel the darkest to you. One last Angelic suggestion that concerns that beautiful quality--our free will. We humans have free will so we can choose anything. They suggest choosing more thoughts/actions that align you with Source and self. So, for instance, choosing revenge, or an unhealthy addictive response, or a fear-based decision/reaction will pull you away farther from your inner light and farther away from your connection to Source...(it will also perpetuate the difficulties). Instead ground, center, breathe and pull back before taking the next step! More on tonight's show (7-8 pm...archives, too)!

I've been asking for a rainbow. Sometimes I need a bit of reassurance from the Universe. And for the latter part of the summer I've been asking to see a rainbow. So everytime we had rain and breaks of sun I'd search the sky in vain. The lesson is not just the asking but the letting go. We have a tendency (myself included) to want to control the outcome...it's never a good idea 'cause then we limit how our Angelic helpers can, well, help us. The other important ingredient to the manifestation formula is to stay open. The signs we are asking for can come to us in a variety of ways. Perhaps seeing one directly was not how it was supposed to go down. So when hubby came home the other night after visiting with his parents and told me he had a picture for me.......guess what it was!?

Rewind and Upgrade

In preparing for tomorrow evening's Discovering Nature's Spirit radio show (7-8 pm est) I asked the Angels what they wanted me to share. They immediately gave me a picture of rewinding an old cassette tape. (remember those?!) When you rewound them sometimes they would snag, sometimes they would rip, and sometimes the tape would come right out of the plastic container. The Angels told me that that is what many of us our experiencing right now. A rewind! And like the tape it is not always easy. The purpose they tell me is that we are currently "rewinding" our energy so that we can release any energetic "snags" we still have that can trip us up as we move forward on our paths. The snags represent our difficult life experiences from the past that have left marks in our energy fields or still reside in our cell memories. Sometimes we are aware of these marks and sometimes we are completely unaware but because they reside in our energy and our energy shapes our lives they can continue to affect us and block our progress. The Angels are readying us for smooth sailing ahead and we cannot sail so smoothly until our energies our clear. They give this information to us in this way so that we can understand that often the challenges we are currently facing in our lives are to help bring awareness to our old snags!! Once we are aware of what is happening and what may be being triggered, release follows fairly easily. The problem we run into is we get stuck in the snag all over again when we are not aware of the process like many feet of black cassette tape in ribbons all over the floor outside the plastic container! Knowledge is power. Remember to ask the Angels for help in releasing these old patterns, hurts, etc. The Angels can help you smooth out that tape! The whole process is leading us forward to a new energy...an energy that is clear and at a higher frequency...like leaving the cassette tape completely behind after we have rewound it. We can give ourselves a clean slate for a whole new start at the life we have always dreamed of. And what is being offered to us is not even upgrading to a cd; but rather to a whole new wireless system where the quality is pure, vibrant and exciting! As we keep moving forward on our journey to the stars we can bring in more and more light...more of our higher self energy...more of who we truly are! We'll talk more on the show Mon. night!! Just wanted to let everyone know Catriona MacGregor had an emergency come up at the time of our show Monday evening. She will be our guest once again on Monday August 8!

Our Raven's World post today features a special guest, Merlin, my cat you see above. Here's the story...I was sitting on our couch this weekend with Merlin finishing up the book "Partnering with Nature" in preparation of Monday evening's show. For a little guy, Merlin can really spread out over space. Raven wanted to join us on the couch but the way we were positioned there was not enough room. And although she is far bigger than Merlin, she never does anything that would result in squishing him. So she stood in front of the couch and wined a bit and I waited to see what would happen. Sure enough Merlin got up and repositioned himself a bit more on top of my lap so that Raven would have enough room to lie down. And that she did. I said to them that Raven should thank Merlin and then I asked if they do that kind of thing. I heard from both of them, "It's just love."

It has been a very busy Spring for me! Not a lot of time to blog, unfortunately... I've found that I have been drawn to 'weed' my 'garden' and not just the one that finally went in outdoors!! Rather taking stock of all that I spend my energy on and letting go of that which does not feed me. When I do this, I find something else comes in that is much more rewarding. I am also more in the present moment these days. I really have the Lightarian work to thank for that! Through their programs I have been able to find gratitude in everything I do and everything that I am. And not just a surface kind of gratitude but rather a soul-rich deep gratitude and the doors that open from that place are absolutely amazing!!

Yesterday on Raven's World she reminded us that animals are our guides here on Earth. And what I am hearing from Spirit is that we are now meant to be Spirit Guides to each other here on Earth, too. Many have spoken about the changes coming. (really they have already started). We are being encouraged to allow in more light into our physical bodies. We are ascending to blend with our Spirit bodies. Or, our higher self is descending to join with our physical self. We will be in a space where we are connected to Spirit more than ever before. We will have regular intuitive insights and be able to channel healing energy easily for ourselves and others. Being more light means viewing the world through the eyes of love. Love that does not have conditions and does not include judgments. In order to embrace this new sense of self, we must let go of the old patterns that no longer serve us. We must release the areas within our physical bodies and our energy bodies that are not 'light'. So, we are shifting away from a victim mentality. We are understanding that our own energy, vibration, thoughts and beliefs create our lives. We have control and responsibility for our own creations (good or bad) and so does everyone else. There is a shift away from a co-dependent interaction in our relationships. Each one of us is connected to Source. Each one of us is Source. So each one of us has our own guidance and power over our own creations and connections. We are not responsible for anyone else's happiness, only our own. We are learning to go with the flow. We know that all will be provided for us if we follow our instincts, let go of the struggle and allow Spirit to guide us. We can allow Spirit or life force energy to flow freely through us which creates health and well being. All of this is within our ability and control. Each one of us. So the question I have been hearing from my students and clients and admittedly from myself as well is how do we interact with others now. Many who have been on this path of change and ascension are already seeing things differently. And then we look around us and see many others who are not. We may have people close to us, friends and family members, who are still in the struggle of it all. Those who's lives are being amplified by the drama or traumas to show them where they need to change. So we ask as lightworkers, "what do we do for them"? Or, "how do we help others now?". And the answer that has clearly come from Spirit is that we are meant to be "Spirit Guides" now. We do NOT get personally involved in other people's pain and life lessons to "fix" it for them. NO, NO, No. That is the old co-dependent way. Instead we think about Spirit Guides. What are Spirit Guides? How do they function? Our Spirit Guides on the other side hold us always in the energy of unconditional love. The gently guide us while always respecting our free will. They see the bigger picture because of their being close to Source and so they know what is in our highest good. And they hold the energy of that for us even as we make choices that lead us away from our authentic path. Spirit Guides cannot interfere in our lives unless we ASK for help. So now my beautiful light filled friends, that is how we must be for others. Here on Earth. No matter who it is. Even if it is your sister, or you mother or your son. Encourage them to find their own way and embrace their own Light. Just as you continue to do them same for yourself.

Repeatedly the Angels and my body have clearly told me that drinking coffee is not in my best interest (especially with caffeine). But I have to admit to really loving the smell of coffee. And then when winter sets in I have even more of a craving for a mid afternoon cup. So for Christmas this year friends gave us one of those keurig coffee maker deals which gives you one cup at a time. What fun...a new toy! I discovered that newman makes organic, fair trade, gluten free, decaf cups so I said to myself....what would be the harm. And my body gave its usual protest of dehydration and a wee bit more of a lack of energy than usual as I started my new coffee drinking ritual and still I persevered. Just recently I've gone to different stores in search of more coffee 'cups' and discovered a recurrent theme...they are all out of stock of that one coffee selection I want. There were even signs (and a 'sign' from those angels...) that said the store didn't know when it would be back in. That's what I get for not listening in the first place!!!! lol Fine, back to herbal teas!! :)

Today's Raven's World is featuring a guest channeler. Monday evening on Discovering Nature's Spirit radio show our guest was Kim Christensen who is an animal healer and intuitive. She brought through wonderful information about animals and then at the end shared an important message directly from the animals. She gave me permission to share it here with all of you. It's a message that hopefully we will continue to share! Be the voice of the animals! Here it is (with a bit of paraphrasing):

The animals' main concern right now is genetically altered plants, seeds and animals DNA. They are worried that we are changing the vibrational frequency within those plants and animals. Then the animals and us are consuming these items which change all of OUR vibrational frequencies. And changing these frequencies can cause world wide dis-harmony and dis-ease in all living things. The animals do not want us to change the Earth's 'song'. They say that the Earth sings a pure vibrational song. The Earth's song should not be what we think it should be. There's a reason the Earth's song is the way it is. They do not want us to change the 'melody'. Mother Earth can take care of Mother Earth. Let her. Do no get in the way.

So yesterday as I was driving I was feeling a wee bit cranky. And none of the songs on the radio were to my liking. I decided I really wanted to hear "Save me" by Shine Down. As I looked around my car I realized that I had previously taken that cd out and brought it in the house. All I had in the car was the new Shine Down cd that didn't have that song. So then I had to stop for gas and when I got back in the car, guess what was the first song I heard on the radio!!!! You guessed it, "Save me" by Shine down!!!! For those not familiar with the band, that song is not exactly played very often, either. You gotta love those Angels!!!!

Flow, flexibility and faith

Flow, flexibility and faith are my new 3 favorite words from Spirit. As I watch my own life (and the lives of my clients) spin by, I find being grounded essential. It sometimes feels like a whirlwind. You might even call it chaos at times. So much upheaval. So much change. For everyone. We know in our heart of hearts it's all for the better. But when you are spinning in it it can be hard to gain your footing. And even in the more difficult moments I know everything is really okay. And everything will be okay. And Spirit always reassures this. It comes back to our belief as humans that we must be in control. Which just gets us in trouble and limits our dreams, creations and solutions. Really what we need is to be connected to Spirit and then we need to surrender. The rest will be taken care of once we get out of the way. Mother Nature has been showing this lesson to us here in the NE with tons and tons of snow stuff. Scheduling, work commitments, school functions, and where you thought you were going that day must be released. How can you go with the flow, how can you be more flexible and how is it all leading you back to faith....those are questions you may want to start asking yourself. I know I sure have!

As someone who has grown up on spaghetti and meatballs, I find I need to search for new and exciting ways to have traditional spaghetti now that I don't eat meat. We all know the spaghetti squash trick where you put red sauce on the squash after you use a fork to the squash and it's like spaghetti. Well, I found an alternative. Take regular yellow squash, peel and grate it in a pan. Fry with garlic and olive oil. Then add your red sauce. Cook your spaghetti (I use quinoa because I'm gluten free). Put it all together....it's so good!

Today is bound to be a powerful day. We all know by now that 'ones' signify keeping your thoughts positive so that you can create wonderful things in your life. The Angels for the new year tell me that they want to help us with our 'expectations'. They say that they want to help us to expect the best instead of the worst. Because what we expect does come true for us. It is a time to clear out all that no longer serves you including your negative thought patterns, old beliefs that no longer work, your space and your body. When you come from a place of purity Spirit can work through you to create your dreams. The Angels say that deep changes are quite likely this year. They are helping all of us to live more in alignment with our authentic selves and our purpose here on Earth. That may entail pushing you out of your comfort zone if you have not already moved forward yourself. The Angels are also talking to me for everyone this year to let go more. We as humans have a tendency to want or need to control everything. The more we can surrender this control and allow the Angels to help us, the better our lives will be. When we attempt to decide how our dreams will manifest we limit ourselves. When we allow the Angels to work with us the possibilities are endless and they can bring in so much more for us and in the best way and in the best time. Have faith and go with the flow!

Clearing out and cat issues...

I have been like a woman possessed lately to clear my space. I've been going through old paperwork that piled up filing away what I need and throwing out what I don't. It really feels like all that 'stuff' creates stagnant energy that should not be brought forward in 2011. In 2010 I did a lot of internal 'cleaning house' and now my external space needs to catch up! Feng shui at its best.
When my cat Midnight passed it was with great sadness. He had always been on a special diet because he was prone to crystals in his urine. After many years of vet bills, procedures and antibiotics we discovered that the food was the whole problem. Royal Canin SO for felines was the only food on the planet that gave him health. The problem for me was it was a vet prescribed food and not a holistic one. But what could we do? And it was impossible to feed him one food and the rest of our cat family something different so everyone ate it. After he passed the only upside was I could give my cats a food with whole food nutrition. Then came Tashi into the clan and guess what? Yep, she has urinary issues, too. So Royal Canin is on order and here we go again!!!

Gluten free eggplant bake

Greetings everyone. This is a wonderful healthier version of eggplant parmesan. Thought I'd share:

3 eggs (or egg substitute if you're vegan...you can use all almond milk, too)
3 T almond milk
1 cup Pamela's baking & pancake mix
1/2 cup garbanzo bean flour (for some extra protein for us veggie people..I use Bob's red mill)
2 eggplants (peal skin and slice 1/4-1/2" thick slices)
olive or grape seed oil
1 clove garlic
goat cheese (if you can do cheese, even though I can't do milk, I can tolerate some goat products)
black pepper
gf spaghetti sauce--1-2 jars
2 boxes Ancient Quinoa Harvest spaghetti (or other gf pasta of your choosing)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. I use a nice heavy cast iron frying pan (extra iron for us veggie people!). Preheat over low-med heat. Add oil and the garlic clove crushed. Beat eggs with almond milk in a bowl. Mix Pamelas and garbanzo bean flour together in another bowl...you may want to add a bit of crushed pepper, too. Take each eggplant slice, dip both sides in egg mixture then flour mixture. Fry slices of eggplant in oil until brown on each side. (make sure pan always has plenty of oil) Put sauce in the bottom of a large baking dish to coat the bottom. Then place eggplant slices in baking dish. You'll probably get two layers. Top eggplant with more sauce and sprinkle goat cheese on top. Cover and bake for one hour. You may want to heat up extra sauce. Meanwhile cook pasta according to package directions. Enjoy!

Peace and Healing Mother Earth

This past week I hosted a Psychic and Mediumship Development circle at The Purple Rose. I was guided to have the group do a meditation to a guide or helper and ask this question, "How can we bring peace and healing to Mother Earth." With the participants' permission, I'm sharing the answers that they received from Spirit. Here they are:

Patience; don't give up; work together; shine your light; the Earth takes in some of your light and then it makes the Earth stronger and she sends the light back up to us; we could see big changes but it's all positive, nothing to fear; surrender; let go and let it be; lead by example; send healing energy to the Earth, golden light; set intentions; gather with others in loving ritual to honor the Earth; let the fields rest and the crops rotate.

Turkey? day

I usually do not hop up on a soap box, but I have something pressing on my mind and my heart. I would never presume to tell anyone what to do. I sure as heck am no authority. I do not want to take away traditions and family time. But is it possible, to change just a bit? Perhaps have some eggplant Parmesan or a nice dish of your choosing other than a turkey every thanksgiving. Is it possible for all of us to gather with those we love and give thanks without turkey? I'm not necessarily even asking that you give up turkey altogether. Instead, you could have it at random times throughout the year. It's just that as tuned into the animal kingdom as I tend to be, I'm aware of all the turkeys that are bred and killed specifically just so we can have one on our thanksgiving day table every year. And I do not even want to think about the deplorable housing and the ingredients that they are given that are inhumane to them and toxic to us if you are still choosing a conventional turkey. That's a topic for another post... We can even rename it something like Feast Day instead of Turkey day!!

Newest rescue

Here she is, our latest rescue. All of the cats we've ever had have been rescues. And we don't have to go out to shelters and such to find them. Each and every one of them has found us. We've even had sick kittens end up in our driveway. We had a kitten walk out of our woods once and walk up my hubby's side and perch up on his shoulder. And many of you already know Tara's story who lived at The Purple Rose for a while. Seriously, they all come to us. So when the phone rang last week late one night and it was our friend saying a cat had been left behind by one of our tenants, well, we knew it was our latest family member. So, meet Tashi. She's been a bit sick and had to have some minor surgery but she's on the mend now. Very soon she'll be healthy enough to be integrated in with the rest of our furry family members!
